Christmas Wish List Free Download

With Christmas fast approaching, 

we are getting A LOT of

"ask Santa that" from my two year old.

He is completely convinced that ANYTHING he wants he can just ask Santa for.

Which I love.

Yaay for believing. 

I love his creativity and his mind. 

He sees the simplest thing and is pretty sure he wants it. 

He also see's a full size truck and is pretty sure he wants that too.

I didn't want to put a limit on his imagination and hopes so I created a little poem.

This way he can put as much as he wants on his Christmas list without feeling limited, 

but he will also know that Santa won't get EVERYTHING. 

So on the list I created stars for favorites.

I want my boy to grow up having what he needs, 

but I definitely want to instill gratitude and humility in him.

At the end of the poem, the child tells Santa he knows he is blessed

and that he has a few things he'd like to donate.

The list has space to list toys/books/etc. to donate.

The Buffalo Trend

Happy Christmas Eve!
This holiday season has seriously flown by.
But before I miss the Christmas deadline, I want to share this cute holiday print.
Although it really can be worn before/after the holidays, it is a perfect holiday addition.

I have been loving the buffalo plaid trend.

It may not be a hot fresh off the market trend, but I love it!
I put together a little polyvore set with this beautiful print.

My First Baby Style Post

A little while ago I did some design work for the cutest little baby shop Golden Coast Baby.

My best friend runs the shop and sells the cutest baby leggings I have ever seen.

The fabric is organic and the patterns are to die for. 

Plus she will be adding some bandana bibs to the shop soon!

We traded design work for some leggings. 

She has made me a couple of pairs and I. LOVE. THEM.

But I finally got to taking pictures of my little guy in this pair. 

I never knew that styling a baby boy could be so much fun!

I know this photo is a little blurry, but these beautiful blue eyes just kill me!

These darling Jordans are a hand me down that baby boy's UNCLE wore when he was a little tyke!

little sissy is having two "guestbooks" for her wedding

one is the smashbook where people can write notes 

and the other is the finger print guest book.

i thought this would be a fun one for them to hang in their house

here is the simple poster i made for the thumbprints:

the thumbprints will be the balloons.

here is one i found from etsy that is finished:

we will have a stamp pad by the poster 

so people can ink their finger then add a "balloon"

i'm excited to see how it turns out!

(picked out by little sissy herself)

i am working on re-doing my shop..

i am going back and forth between shopenvy & etsy.

i like shopenvy cause it's free, but i seem to sell better on etsy.

anybody have any tips?

i'd love to hear about them. 

because i am re-doing the shop, 

i am putting all of the old items up for free.

i just want to completely re-face the whole shop, 

but don't want the other items to go unnoticed!

i was so excited to make her invite:

i'm loving those colors together.

turned out pretty cute if i do say so myself.

& since i already had the design made up, 

i thought it would be fun to share the blank design for you.

so if you are looking for the perfect customizable blank invite, 

here it is!

all you need is to add the wording, either handwritten or in a computer program.

the image is created to be printed as a 4x6 image.

right/double click on the image, save to your computer and you're ready to go!

free desktop of the month: august 2012

i decided i am going to be done making calendar desktops.

mostly because i feel like if i make the desktop, i should use it..

and i am getting kinda sick of having the calendar & want a picture instead.

so i made this desktop for august:

of course, 

you can add your own photo.

you will need some type of photo editing program like photoshop or gimp, 

one that allows you to use layers.

you will drag your picture as a new layer, it needs to be the bottom layer

you will likely need to resize the photo.

i created a desktop that requires no editing.

to download this one, just right/double click and save as.

a modern day fairy tale design

happy 24th of july for those utahns out there.

we are enjoying a day off today, although with homework and everything else, 

it's not much of a day off.

made these announcements for my work friend's little baby.

she was having a smurf party!

since it was such a simple design, 

i could easily edit it to make it generic.

june is over, we need a new desktop!

so, it is 1:25 am as i am writing this post, and i just finished the desktop.

so you better use it!! (totally kidding)

i love the idea.

and use a dry erase marker to continually change your message.
isn't that so sweet!

FLORIDA FOR CHRISTMAS!

as of (well right now!)

i am on my way to the bright sunny FLORIDA!

we are spending christmas break in disneyworld and universal!

i'm dying to see the harry potter world at universal.

this will be such a fun trip with the family.
